Build future cities bootamp

It is evident that the Ghanaian youth can no longer sit still about our contaminated water bodies and the inadequate advocacy on climate change, not withstanding the rampant prevalence of Galamsey. This is why Handz-On Africa is bringing up the STEAM bootcamp themed "Building Sustainable Cities"

Our criteria for the winning innovative idea focused on illegal mining includes:

1. Attendance of Workshop

   Participants should have attended both workshops either as an individual or as a team.

2. Feasibility

   • Technical viability and scalability of the solution.
   • Realistic implementation plan with timelines and resource requirements.
   • Identification of potential barriers and mitigation strategies.

3. Impact

   • Potential to significantly reduce illegal mining activities.
   • Effectiveness in addressing water pollution issues.
   • Long-term benefits for local communities and ecosystems.

4. Sustainability

   • Environmental sustainability of the proposed solution.
   • Economic viability and potential for job creation.
   • Social sustainability, including community engagement and support.

5. Scalability and Replicability

   • Ability to scale the solution to other regions or contexts.
   • Clear plan for replication and adaptation in different environments
